What an exciting time to be alive and to be interceding for the LIFE issue as we enter into the 40th Parliament in Canada! Allow this prayer/testimony bulletin to guide you in your prayers and encourage you to keep praying. Thank you for continuing to read through our praise reports and prayer requests each month and committing to covering our nation in prayer as we petition heaven in our various weekly prayer slots!! You are not alone! There is a whole army of us across this nation praying fervently for the ending of abortion and for the spirit of LIFE to invade the hearts of every Canadian!

From My Heart

Throughout the past month, God has been speaking to me about how much the babies within the womb are under attack. Many prayer requests have come in for mothers who are having complications in their pregnancies. I know of 5 women personally who have chosen LIFE but that are/were experiencing difficulties and there was one reported incidence where doctors were pushing a mother to get an abortion to save her own life. Two babies that I have knowledge of did not make it past the womb this month alive; and this was not a result of abortion but instead pre-mature death. I believe that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers of darkness! We are in a time in which pregnant mothers and their unborn babies need to be protected and covered through prayer and fasting. I believe that the enemy knows that we are taking ground as we stand for LIFE through prayer and fasting. He is trembling and as a result he is trying everything he can to hinder LIFE.

Throughout the past month God has been giving me the same picture over and over. The picture is of a woman with a baby in her womb. In this vision the unborn child is being covered by the wings of angels. I believe God is saying that as we cry out to Him on behalf of an unborn generation He is dispatching His angels to guard over and protect the babies in the womb from all harm. I believe that God spoke to us to encourage us to continue to intercede on behalf of the unborn. Each request and prayer brought to the LORD has been heard and will continue to be heard. God will bring justice to Canada! I want to take this time to thank each of you for embracing this high calling that requires persistence like that of the persistent widow in the bible. God is pleased with your obedience and passion for the little children He loves and cherishes. Let this be an encouragement to your heart today. You are dearly loved and adored.

More and more Canadians who stand for righteousness and the issue of LIFE are writing newspaper articles, letters to the editor, and letters to members of government with boldness and clarity and some are even being published within the secular media.
Pro-family documentary called Demographic Winter-The Decline of the Human Family made by secular social scientists around the world explains how the decline in the human family poses great risks to our future unless we begin to strengthen the family unit and choose to have children.

LIFE IN YOUR AREA

This month 2 Pro-life clubs on university campuses (U of Toronto, U of Guelph) hosted informational events/conferences that brought awareness to the students about the dangers of abortion and the benefits to choosing life. The statement of LIFE and pro-life values were brought forward with boldness!

LIFE IN POLITICS

Many pro-value and pro-life leaders who stand for righteous values were elected in the 40th Parliament. Many areas within Canada now have newly elected MPs who are pro-life and are willing to embrace life at all costs.

LIVES ALREADY SAVED

It was reported on October 17th that across North America in 40 Days for LIFE campaigns over 268 lives have been saved.
People are consciously choosing to embrace life and choosing to have children. We also KNOW there are many more who have chosen NOT to abort because you have been praying.

Prayer Points 4 LIFE

Keep praying, your prayers are working and saving lives, as well as many young women/men from the emotional wreckage that comes with abortions. Let's press in like never before! Even today, babies lives are hanging in the balance and your prayers can make a HUGE difference.

POLITICS:

1. Pray for the newly elected government leaders! Pray that the pro-life leaders would step forward with boldness and confidence. Pray that the church and pro-life Canadians would realize their need to stand for life at all costs. Pray that our voice would be louder than the minorityís voice! Pray that our leaders would have dreams, visions and encounters with the True and Living God!
2. Pray that God would raise up governing officials(locally, provincially, federally and at the supreme court level) would, like Wilberforce did with the slave trade, take this up as a life-cause; pray God would raise up strong political coalitions at every level.
3. Pray that pro-life Canadians would have a boldness to share their hearts concerning abortion with the new leaders and that every leader would know that abortion is not a closed issue.
4. Pray that the media would oppose the Alberta College of Physicians: Human Rights Draft and other drafts that threaten freedom of conscience and religion. Pray that the Members of Parliament that are elected that will oppose this and other Human Rights drafts and tribunals, and that the Motions to investigate the Human Rights Commissions in Canada are re-introduced in the next Parliament.

EDUCATION:

1. Pray that teachers would get a new vision for sharing life centered values within their classrooms through literature, media, and discussion as well as in other creative ways. Pray that pro-life curriculum and perspectives will fill the school; as well as teaching on sexual purity.
2. Pray for students as they are in their schools to get creative ideas that will shake their high schools, colleges and universities. Also pray that God will raise up a grass movement in every school (whether it be high school or University/Colleges) of young people who will do whatever it takes to see abortion end in their generation (through prayer and through being a part of the solution)
3. Pray for pro-life clubs on every university/college campus in Canada who are standing for life by educating and influencing their fellow students. Specifically pray for Guelph University, York University and University of British Columbia who have had opposition concerning their pro-life clubs (currently have been denied club status). Life Choiceís Club (Guelph,ON) is appealing their denial of club status on Wednesday, October 29th at the CSA Board of Directors meeting. As well, The B.C. Human Rights Tribunal is supposed to have a hearing on the appeal regarding the UCBO Student Union and the banned Students for Life Club in the near future. Pray for favour and divine wisdom for these groups and their leaders.
3. Pray whatever God shows you.

MEDIA AND BUSINESS

1. Continue to pray that strong pro-life perspectives will be platformed in the national, regional and local media. Let's pray that shows like Oprah, the National, the Hour and others will begin to consider and platform pro-life perspectives whether they agree or not; pray that God would raise up loving, articulate and wise spokes people that will win the hearts of Canadians on this issue.
2. Pray that all the movies that are promoting life will grip the hearts of Canadians all across this nation and they would become obsessed with life.
3. Pray businesses and those in the marketplace would financially support pro-life initiatives and ministries within our nation. Pray that as businesses choose to embrace life in these ways they would be blessed abundantly for using their increase for the furtherance of the Kingdom!
4. Pray for emerging writers as well as established writers that stand for righteousness. Pray for divine clarity and wisdom as they write as the Holy Spirit leads them. Pray for favour as they submit their articles and letters to the editor to newspapers all across Canada. Pray that their words would not fall on deaf ears but the truth would be embraced and that as they read God would encounter the hearts of Canadians.
5. Pray whatever God shows you.

ABORTION DOCTORS, NURSES & HOSPITALS

1. Pray that God would convict their hearts and speak to them in a way that they cannot deny it (through dreams and visions especially); pray for their salvation.
2. Pray for Morgentaler and his staff; pray that they would have a radical encounter with God and that he (and they) would become hard core pro-life like what we have seen with Jane Roe.
3. Pray that provincial governments and hospital boards will refuse to do abortions in their hospitals (hospital boards can rule this way).
4. Pray that doctors and nurses would simply refuse to do abortions. Pray that God would raise up a new generation of doctors who refuse to support abortion or perform them.
5. Pray that God would divinely intervene ... that equipment would break down, power would go out, and women would miss busses...whatever it takes for the message to get through.

1. Pray for intercessory leaders to arise to start Bound4Life chapters in their area. Specifically pray for groups to begin in provinces that are not covered yet (Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nunavut, Northwest and Yukon Territories and Quebec).
2. Pray for mothers and their unborn babies in Canada. Pray protection and perfect health for the babies and their mothers. That LIFE would not be hindered in any way.

POSITIVE SOLUTIONS

1. Pray the Church would rise up and help young girls facing pregnancy through prayer, support, finances and adoption where needed - pray that we would be the answers to our own prayers - this is only right.
2. Pray for the B4L chapters rising up and the existing chapters. Pray that the church would join in and support through prayer and encouragement. Pray that the leaders would not feel overwhelmed or alone in their call to prayer for the unborn.
