My hope is that this prayer/testimony bulletin will guide you in your prayers and encourage you to pray with confidence. Let's continue to keep our governmental leaders in our prayers and ask that the will of God would be done in our nation in the area of LIFE. Thank you for continuing to read through our praise reports and prayer requests each month and for committing to covering our nation in prayer as we petition heaven in our various weekly prayer slots!! You are not alone! There is a whole army of us across this nation praying fervently for the ending of abortion and for the spirit of LIFE to invade the hearts of every Canadian! God hears every prayer and is moving on our behalf. Babies lives are being saved daily! Thank you for standing in the gap for such a time as this.

From My Heart

And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?

He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.

Isaiah 40:11

This past month I received a prayer alert for a pregnant woman who had an abortion scheduled that week. Immediately my heart went out to this mother and also this baby. My heart's prayer in this moment was, "NO, NOT THIS ONE!" These desperate situations and these critical moments are exactly why we need this prayer initiative called, "No, Not This One" in Canada! No matter what the situation, the need or the circumstance God wants this baby born alive and He is calling us to stand in prayer with His heart and His plan for their destiny.

I believe that as intercessors like you stand in the gap on behalf of specific lives hanging in the balance we will see God intervene and as a result lives will be saved. We have already seen God work LIFE saving miracles throughout this nation since December 2009 when No, Not This One pilot was launched in Kelowna, BC. Even this past month, a mother chose to carry her twins to term as a result of the prayers of many that were prayed in a critical moment.

Today, I am asking if you would become a part of an intercessory team to pray for these specific prayer requests in your area or to start one if there isn't a No Not This One chapter already. Would you consider taking 2-3 minutes in your day/week to pray for SOS prayer requests as they come to you through email or text messages? I know that as we come together to agree with God's plan for LIFE these babies, we will see the miraculous.

Let us know what area you are from so we can connect you appropriately or inform you of the opportunity to launch a group in your area.

Pro-Life "Ending Abortion" webcast sponsored by 40 Days for LIFE had 10,000 attendees, 35 pro-life speakers, and 10 focused sessions. These free recordings are now available online. Click here to listen.
A new pro-life YouTube video called, "Abortions and Ice Cream: A Personal Preference?" was posted this month by a young Canadian. Click here to watch.
More and more Canadians are taking a stand for righteousness and the issue of LIFE by writing newspaper articles, letters to the editor, and letters to members of government with boldness and clarity. An increased amount were published this past month within the secular media. An increased amount of articles specifically related to the G8 abortion debate, March for LIFE, unborn generally and the need for the abortion debate to be re-opened are being published in the paper. LIFE IN EDUCATION

LifeCanada will be launching a national education campaign on adoption to promote awareness of adoption and encourage the public to see adoption in a positive and compassionate manner. They are looking for people who have placed a child for adoption, been adopted, or adopted a child domestically to share testimonials for their new website on adoption. 4 MY CANADA COUNCIL is launching an adoption campaign on Facebook at the beginning of August. Facebook users are encouraged to join Adoption group(Click here to visit) and choose a profile picture of person who has been adopted and post at the designated time periods beginning Aug. 1st. Each profile picture says, "ADOPTED. Abortion is not the only option." As well, on this group videos of people who have been adopted will be posted and used to spread the word about the positive aspects of adoption. If you were adopted and would like to submit your picture to be used for this campaign email admin@4mycanada.ca.
"Show The Truth" Campaign Tours took place throughout Ontario this past month. As well, "Choice" Chain, set up by the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform set up displays at the Calgary Stampede using graphic pictures with the word, "Choice?" next to it. One woman considering abortion changed her mind after seeing this display.

LIFE IN YOUR AREA

40 Days 4 LIFE has already been accepting applications for fall campaign which will be held from September 22- October 31st and has had a huge response. More prayers being prayed for the unborn in Canada. Yay, God!
A group of pro-life students with a group called Crossroads walked across Canada this summer to promote the dignity and sanctity of all human life. They had opportunities to share the message of LIFE at churches, pro-life meetings, and backyard BBQ's.
God is connecting Crisis Pregnancy Centers with local intercessors for increased prayer support as they counsel various women who are contemplating having abortions through No, Not This One initiative. God has been moving as a result of this partnership of prayer and action.
The 24/7 Prayer Siege 4 LIFE continues to be joined by faithful intercessors willing to give 15 minutes a week to pray for the ending of abortion in Canada. There is only a total of 56 time slots of 15 minutes each left to fill which is 17 slots less than last month. This is only 14 hours during the whole week out of 168 that are not covered in prayer for the ending of abortion in Canada. Soon all 24 hours 7 days a week will be filled. Thank you, Jesus! Continue to encourage your friends, family and congregations to join in prayer and sign up on our website.

LIFE IN THE MEDICAL INDUSTRY

A family physician of 16 years shared how God has been stirring her heart for the issue of life over the past 1 1/2 years. God is giving boldness to these ones in the medical field as greater revelation of God's heart for the unborn is poured out on them.

LIFE IN POLITICS

Mary Wagner, the young woman who was jailed earlier this year for entering an abortion clinic and counseling women and abortion workers, has been acquitted of all charges and freed from jail.
Roxanne's Bill(C-510), a private members bill that would protect women from being pressured or intimidated into having an abortion. This bill is also entitled An Act to Prevent the Coercion of Women to Abortion. If passed, this bill could save many babies lives and protect women from violence.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper raised billions of dollars during the G8 for the maternal and child healthcare initiative which will not include abortion.
Funding for The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) continues to be delayed following a petition that was launched by Conservative MP Brad Trost in November of last year. This petition asked the government to completely cut funding to IPPF and his goal was that the funding not be renewed when it expired in December.

LIVES ALREADY SAVED

A woman who found out she was pregnant who was very abortion minded changed her mind after seeing pro-life sticker at her father's house.
Young mom who is 13 weeks pregnant with twins was convinced that she was going to have an abortion. She changed her mind one day after sending out a No, Not This One SOS message. She has now decided that she will carry the babies to full term and decide whether or not to parent them or place them for adoption once they are born. Praise the LORD!
People are consciously choosing to embrace life and choosing to have children. We also KNOW there are many more that have chosen NOT to abort because you have been praying.

Prayer Points 4 LIFE

Keep praying, your prayers are working and saving lives, as well as many young women/men from the emotional wreckage that comes with abortions. Let's press in like never before! Even today, babies lives are hanging in the balance and your prayers can and will make a HUGE difference.

POLITICS:

1. Langley pro-life group is asking B.C.'s privacy commissioner to hold a public hearing to challenge provincial law to challenge provincial law that prohibits hospitals from releasing abortion statistics. Pray that the truth behind what is happening in hospitals provincially but also federally to be released and not kept hidden in our nation.

2. Pray for Roxanne's law, a private members bill that would protect women from being pressured or intimidated into having an abortion. If passed, this bill could save many babies lives and protect women from violence. Pray for favour on this bill and also pray that Prime Minster Stephen Harper would have a change of heart towards this bill. Pray that he would allow a free vote within his party. Pray that Canadians (parliamentarians and pro-choice advocates in particular) would not see this bill as a bill that would open up the abortion debate or that would limit access to abortion but that they would see it as a pro-choice bill that would protect women and their rights. Pray also for MP Rod Broinooge who tabled this bill on April 14th. Pray a blessing over him and his family as he continues to stand for life in our nation. Pray that he would have supernatural strength, health, favour and wisdom.

3. Please pray for the Supreme Court judges as they rule in the case of the Assisted Human Reproductive Act, that they would have wisdom and that they would make righteous decisions. Pray for wisdom for the legal counsel defending the current law as they research and craft their legal arguments. Pray that they are able to present arguments in favour of a consistent, national framework clearly and persuasively to the Supreme Court Justices. Pray that the federal law, which they believe best protects the vulnerable and the dignity of human life, be upheld.

4. Continue to pray for elected government leaders! Pray that pro-life leaders would step up with boldness and confidence. Pray for those who are standing for life currently (for example Maurice Vellacott, Rod Bruinooge, and Brad Trost ). Pray that the Pro-life Parliamentary Caucus would have divine strategy and wisdom. Pray that the church and pro-life Canadians would realize their need to stand for life at all costs. Pray that our voice would be louder than the minority's voice! Pray that our leaders would have dreams, visions and encounters with the True and Living God!

5. Pray that God would raise up governing officials (locally, provincially, federally and at the supreme court level) would, like Wilberforce did with the slave trade, take this up as a life-cause; pray God would raise up strong political coalitions at every level.

6. Pray that pro-life Canadians would have a boldness to share their hearts concerning abortion with the new leaders and that every leader would know that abortion is not a closed issue in our nation.

7. Pray that God would raise up righteous men and women to represent Canada in all forums, including the United Nations.

8. Pray that the IPPF (The International Planned Parenthood Foundation) would not receive any more funding from Canada and that as a result babies lives would be saved overseas. Pray for Bev Oda as well as Prime Minister Stephen Harper as they have been receiving much pressure recently to reinstate this funding by pro-abortion advocates. Pray that our nation would come into our destiny to be a nation that brings healing to nations and not death.

9. Pray whatever God shows you.

EDUCATION:

1. Pray that studies that show the truth behind abortion would continue to be done and when completed would be read and acknowledged by the medical field as well as Canadians all over the country. Pray that women would hear of these studies and that through knowing the truth they would have a change of heart when considering abortion. Pray that women and husbands would find this information on the internet and through media easily and that they would accept the truth of it. Pray that babies lives would be saved through the education of truth within our nation.

2. Pray that teachers would get a new vision for sharing life centered values within their classrooms through literature, media, and discussion as well as in other creative ways. Pray that pro-life curriculum and perspectives will fill the school; as well as teaching on sexual purity. Pray that pro-life teachers would have many opportunities to teach on the value of life and to show the miracle it is.

3. Pray for students as they are in their schools to get creative ideas that will shake their high schools, colleges and universities. Also pray that God will raise up a grass movement in every school (whether it be high school or University/Colleges) of young people who will do whatever it takes to see abortion end in their generation (through prayer and through being a part of the solution).

4. Pray for pro-life clubs on every university/college campus in Canada who are standing for life by educating and influencing their fellow students. Pray for universities who have experienced opposition concerning their pro-life clubs in the past. Pray for these clubs as they appeal these decision and try to bring their clubs to life again. Pray for favour and divine wisdom for these groups and their leaders. Pray that they would be given the same funding and equality as other club groups on campus. Pray that pro-life clubs on every campus would be started and have a lasting impact for the life issue.

5. Pray for B4L Chapters who are doing LIFE Tape Sieges on University/College Campuses/High Schools/Junior High Schools as well as other sites during the month of August. Pray that they would have no opposition to go on site to pray for unborn and for the students. Pray that they would have favour with the administration and the students. Pray that Holy Spirit would direct their prayers and as a result that babies' lives would be saved and that eyes would be opened to the truth about abortion. Pray that this generation would embrace the sanctity of life.

6. Pray whatever God shows you.

MEDIA AND BUSINESS:

1. Continue to pray that strong pro-life perspectives will be platformed in the national, regional and local media. Let's pray that shows like Oprah, the National, the Hour and others will begin to consider and platform pro-life perspectives whether they agree or not; pray that God would raise up loving, articulate and wise spokes people that will win the hearts of Canadians on this issue.

2. Pray that all the movies, films, ads and video clips that are promoting life will grip the hearts of Canadians all across this nation and they would become obsessed with life. Pray specifically for a documentary that is currently being created which will include testimonies of women who have been coerced into having abortions in Canada.

3. Pray businesses and those in the marketplace would financially support pro-life initiatives, ministries, and artists within our nation. Pray that as businesses choose to embrace life in these ways they would be blessed abundantly for using their increase for the furtherance of the Kingdom! Pray specifically that Crisis Pregnancy Centres, Pregnancy Care Homes, and resource distribution to pregnant mothers that God has put on the hearts of Canadians to start up would be brought to LIFE through the support of the church, individuals, and businesses.

4. Pray for emerging writers as well as established writers that stand for righteousness. Pray for divine clarity and wisdom as they write as the Holy Spirit leads them. Pray for favour as they submit their articles and letters to the editor to newspapers all across Canada. Pray that their words would not fall on deaf ears but the truth would be embraced and that as they read God would encounter the hearts of Canadians.

5. Pray whatever God shows you.

ABORTION DOCTORS, NURSES & HOSPITALS:

1. Pray that God would convict their hearts and speak to them in a way that they cannot deny it (through dreams and visions especially); pray for their salvation.

2. Pray for Morgentaler and his staff; pray that they would have a radical encounter with God and that he (and they) would become hard core pro-life like what we have seen with Jane Roe.

3. Pray that provincial governments and hospital boards will refuse to do abortions in their hospitals (hospital boards can rule this way).

4. Pray that doctors and nurses would simply refuse to do abortions or counsel women to have abortions. Pray that God would raise up a new generation of doctors who refuse to support abortion or perform them.

5. Pray that God would divinely intervene ... that equipment would break down, power would go out, and women would miss buses...whatever it takes for the message to get through.

6. Pray that doctors throughout Canada would take a bold stand for LIFE in the health sector. Pray that they would have confidence to stand for their convictions and for the sanctity of life. Pray that those who value life would have divine favour with their colleagues and other health professionals.

7. Pray whatever God shows you.

LIFE IN YOUR AREA:

1. Pray for intercessory leaders to arise to start Bound4Life chapters in their area. Specifically pray for groups to begin in provinces that are not covered yet (Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Nunavut, Northwest and Yukon Territories and Quebec). Pray that every city would have a Bound4LIFE chapter that will pray on a regular basis for the ending of abortion in Canada.

2. Pray for mothers and their unborn babies in Canada. Pray protection and perfect health for the babies and their mothers. Pray that they would know their divine calling and that they would have the strength to embrace it. Pray that LIFE would not be hindered in any way. Pray for those in the "valley of decision" at this time in your area. For those women who really feel that they cannot raise a child, pray that they will consider adoption as a viable alternative. Pray that the myths surrounding adoption will be dispelled and truth will prevail. Also pray that more birth moms will step forward to tell their stories for the encouragement of others who are trying to decide on having their babies adopted. Pray that the church will rise up and couples will be willing to adopt these babies.

3. Pray that every time slot on the 24-7 Prayer Wall for the ending of abortion would be filled. Pray that we would have many people from all over the nation agreeing for the spirit of LIFE to invade Canada night and day. Pray that God would raise up Houses of Prayer throughout Canada that would pray day and night for the ending of abortion.

4. Pray that intercessors would arise to join the No, Not This One prayer initiative in Canada through signing up to receive text messages/emails. Pray that babies lives would be saved and that there would be much fruit as they pray in faith for specific situations during critical moments.

5. Pray for research facilities such as the one that does research for The Canadian Diabetes Association. Pray that these facilities would not endorse the use human embryos in stem-cell related research. Pray that God would convict hearts to choose life from the moment of conception and see the destruction of this method of research.

6. Pray that every city in Canada would have a crisis pregnancy center that supports, counsels and educates women who are expecting a child. Pray that women who come to these centers would find hope and healing through Christ and His saving grace. Pray that all pregnancy centers would have more than enough resources, finances and volunteers to complete all that God is calling them to. Pray that God would raise up intercessors to pray for these life giving centers and the women they counsel.

6. Pray whatever God shows you.

POSITIVE SOLUTIONS:

1. Pray the Church would rise up and help young girls facing pregnancy through prayer, support, finances and adoption where needed - pray that we would be the answers to our own prayers - this is only right.

2. Pray for the B4L chapters rising up and the existing chapters. Pray that the church would join in and support through prayer and encouragement. Pray that the leaders would not feel overwhelmed or alone in their call to prayer for the unborn. Pray for divine health over each leader standing for LIFE through prayer in our nation.

3. Pray for those with a vision from God to start a Crisis Pregnancy Centre or Home in their area. Pray for wisdom and direction in every step. Pray that they would have more than enough resource, support and finance to get the job done.

4. Pray and do whatever God shows you.

JOIN THE LIFE BAND PRAYER COVENANT:

Lou Engle wrote a 22 word prayer to replace the Lord's prayer that was taken out of the schools (both in the USA and in Canada) in the late 60's in most states/province. It goes like this:

"JESUS I PLEAD YOU BLOOD OVER MY SINS AND THE SINS OF MY NATION. GOD END ABORTION AND SEND REVIVAL TO CANADA" (they say America).

This is how it works. Those who enter into the covenant put on the red life band an commit to:

Pray this 22 word prayer every time they see the band on their wrist
Vote for those who are actively pro-life.
Obey God as he leads us into works of compassion and justice to be the answers to our own prayers.

We think this is an incredible covenant and are believing God it is going to spread like a Holy virus through our nation a well! Consider entering into it and getting the word out in your network
